garhwal travelThere is Hemkund for trekking in Garhwal.It is situated at Govindghat which lies 4329m above sea level. The trek starts from Govindghat (19 kms.), on the way to Badrinath, having two major gradients, one initially from Alakhnanda suspension bridge of Govindghat to Pulna village, for 3 kms. and the other from Bhyundhar to Ghangharia. After trekking 1 kms from Ghangharia, a bifurcation point is reached, where one route leads to Hemkund the other goes to the Valley of flowers.All the routes to visit this place present the beautiful landscapes and sights.There is a Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve and the nearby hill-stations of Nainital and Bhimtal and several other hill-stations like Mussoorie, Almora and Ranikhet being among the most frequented destinations of India. There are various other attractions of this place.Kempty falls located at 13kms from mussoorie is a magnificient and matchless tourist destination. It a great pleasure to see the waterfalls from a height of 40 feet. Take a refreshing 15-day long trekking expedition on Deharadu-Mussoorie track. Located at Garwhal Himalayas, the route would definitely become a beautiful reminiscence for you. Another trekking destination is Snow View Point. From here you can have a good view of other peaks of Northern Himalayas. Hardly 36-km from Kausani , at the confluence of the rivers Gomti and Saryu lies this religious town of Bageshwar, a popular base for trekking routes of Sundardhunga, Pindari and Kafni glaciers. But if you are looking for trekking with a difference, check out the specifically organized Char Dham yatra.There are trekking sight located from Nainital to Betalghat .All the sights enroot are enchanting and charming. Bountiful nature has provided with a large green trees presenting a very memorable experience.
